Number NINE Is Always The Result

This maths procedure can be used to generate fun and excitement.

Don't believe? Read on ....

After following a few mathematical steps, the answer always lead to the number 9.
How is this being done?

Follow these steps:-

Ask someone to choose any 4-digit number, example, 7368.

Request that he rearrange the digits within the chosen number such that it becomes the smallest possible number, (for above number, after re-arranging, 3678) .

Let him subtract the relatively smaller number from the bigger number. (7368 - 3678 = 3690)

Ask him to add up all the digits of the result of subtraction, stopping only when he arrive at a single digit. (3 + 6 + 9 + 0 = 18 ==> 1 + 8 = 9 , stop)

The answer will always be NINE!

You can make it more amazing by writing this number NINE on a paper and passing it to a targeted person before asking him to choose the 4-digit number. Ask him to reveal the answer and see if it tallies with his calculation.

You too can write the numerical answer at the bottom of a cup, and request the person to view it after the computation.

Maths is to excite and thrill you.
